Abstract:As a pioneer of feminist literary theory and a famous woman writer, Virginia Woolf put forward many serious problems on women and literature in her A Room of One's Own and made an earlier interpretation of feminist literary theory. This paper analyzes the basic views of feminist criticism in her novel A Room of One's Own, which are inherited and developed by many following feminist theorists, making the feminist literary theory so popular. Furthermore, they are playing a positive role in changing people's spiritual world and social reality.
