Abstract:Human Ethics roots itself deeply in the essence of humanity, and thus an intrinsic element of literature. In terms of literary creation, no work is utterly immune from the influence of ethical factors, and there are even quite a number of literary works taking ethics as its foremost concern. For these works, ethics becomes part of the reasons that lead to its genesis. The Awakening and Lady Chatterley's Lover are typical examples of the kind. Ethics as the origin of literary creation shows in two situations: to present the fundamental concepts of good and evil, right and wrong and to contribute to the reforms of ethic orders.
