Abstract:Since the World Conference on Women in 1995, the female demographical studies in China has made much progress. As a sub-field of demography as well as an inter-field, it has attracted more researchers with the introduction of new approaches and the publication of new findings. The remaining problems include the inadequate theoretical studies and the lack of enough academic communication and findings.
