Abstract:During the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, there was a large-scale mobilization among women in Shaanxi Province. Activities against Japanese aggression were far reaching. In the Nationalist Party of China controlled area, some women joined the army and fought in various battles. Some attended organizations to support the front line, including the women’s consolation association of Shaanxi, the office of industrial cooperatives, young women’s Christian association and other equivalents. In the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border region, women also participated in and carried out an Anti-Feudal struggle. Their actions reveal the unity and strength of the Chinese nation.
