Abstract:At present, Japan is one of the most seriously aging countries in the world. Although such a super aging society will increase women's burdens, it also provides more employment and re-employment opportunities for women, especially for married and childbearing women. This has changed the women's labor force participation, productivity, employment form and structure. But, the degree of Japanese women's labor force participation is still at a lower level in the world, and the traditional gender-based divisions of labor, the employment system and the big differences in working conditions and wages have increasingly been the obstacles of women's re-employment.
