On the Characteristics and Significance of Contemporary Homosexual Novels

Abstract:The homosexual phenomenon is arousing more and more concern in our society. Starting with the description of the narrative of the homosexual phenomenon in fictions, this essay profiles the development and peculiarity of ancient and modern novels that pertain to this phenomenon and stresses upon the characteristics and significance of contemporaty homosexual stories. Generally speaking, the lesbian stories written by contemporaty female writers always implies the feminism in some degrees, however, only Wang Xiaobo's Si Shui Rou Qing can be accepted as a real homosexual story in the strict sense.
