  • Shanghai Residents Marrying YoungerShanghai Municipal Statistics Bureau released on Monday an analysis report on the marriage status of municipality residents. It shows that unmarried men account for 23.6 percent of the total male population above 15 years old—1 percent higher than in 2000, and unmarried women for 19.1 percent of the total female population above 15 years old—2.2 percent higher than in 2000.
